Dr. Joel Wallach discussed the body and its ability to use natural healing without using modern medicine. Wallach recommended red wine as a good source of the antioxidant resveratrol, also contained in highly concentrated amounts in one of his supplements. He continued with his idea that diabetes, particularly type 2, can be cured with the use of mineral supplements. He also stated his belief that psychotic disorders that result in school shooters, serial killers and the like is also due to the lack of a certain mineral that he would not readily reveal, but which George correctly guessed was lithium. Wallach emphasized that this needs to be used with combination of other minerals to be effective. He also reiterated his support of cholesterol as an essential part of a healthy diet.
